"Golden" 15.2 hand 6 year old Mare

Fantastic 6 year old. I am going to university, so sadly I have to sell her. A Gisborne Stationbred 15.2 hand Mare coming up 6 years old. Trained in my own (hybrid) type of Natural Horsemanship. Rides bitless in a rope halter. I ride her by herself over hills, along the rode, through rivers etc, she is just brilliant! A fantastic horse, the best I've had! Gorgeous free movement with a great fast walk- doesn't pace at all. I have taught her to jump, and she has a nice gentle jump, but I've only ever jumped her up to 60cm, so she just needs some more work in that area. I've never fallen off her, she doesn't rear, or kick, or buck (she only occasionally gives one small "piggy buck" when going for a canter, but its so small that you can hardly notice). I teach two young girls (8 and 10 years old) how to ride using her. She is very gentle with them and they both adore her. Although, I wouldn't recommend her as a beginners horse. She would suit a returning rider or intermediate and beyond. She can be a bit spooky, but will only dart a little side ways if something scary pops up out of no where. She knows a few little tricks that I've taught her, she is very intelligent and a quick learner. Super sensitive and gentle. She follows me on walks around the farm- no lead rope needed! The best feet ever! She has barefeet and doesn't require shoes! Stands nicely when she gets a trim. I haven't floated her recently but she went on without any fuss last time. With the right owner she will be your best friend for life. She is 1 in a million. A very sad sale for me as I am very fond of her and have put a lot of time into her.
